SIGNARAMA Kew uses PCs for computer cut vinyl graphics and wide format 6 colour (CMYKLcLm) solvent digital printing to create high quality signage solutions. We use FlexiSign Pro Version 8 to cut vinyl and Versa Works to rip files for digital printing. To reproduce your logo or image accurately we need your artwork to confirm to the following requirements:
1. COMPUTER CUT VINYL:
Artwork in digital format should be supplied as a vectored/outlined image in PC Format. All text should first be converted to curves or outlines. As a vectored file is "resolution independent", large images can be saved at a reduced size. Save as:
Adobe Illustrator EPS
Adobe PDF
Adobe Illustrator CS3
FlexiSign Pro 8
Specify PMS colours required, or supply a colour sample (business card, letterhead etc). We will then make a closest possible match in our self-adhesive vinyls. If there is not a close match, we will discuss the alternatives with you before proceeding.
Files LESS THAN 5Mb may be E-mailed to us at kew@signarama.com.au, otherwise supply on a CD or DVD

2. DIGITAL PRINTING:
For digital printing, always supply a reference colour print, or target PMS colours and a PDF image. All colours should be set up in CMYK - no RGB.
Bitmap images should be at a resolution to give the required result when printed final size. If there is text or spot colour objects, they should be vectored/converted to curves. Bitmap resolution of 300dpi at 50% of final size should be adequate.
We can take the file types listed above, but images will generally have to be on CD/DVD because of file size. For digital printing we can also take Photoshop files (CS2), as well as large bitmaps and TIFs. JPEGs (due to their compressed format) are usually not acceptable. GIFs ARE DEFINITELY NOT ACCEPTABLE
